In this interview, which originally aired in 2006, Pulitzer Prize winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin talks about her book, Team of Rivals. The book chronicles the lives of Abraham Lincoln and his cabinet members. During the discussion, Goodwin talks about the lessons we can learn from Lincoln, the rare president who asked his main rivals to be part of his cabinet - rivals who then became allies.
