A Pakistani Intelligence officer is stabbed to death in London and it sets off a flurry of undercover activity. MI5 learns of a Pakistani asset who has infiltrated a group of Hindu nationalists planning a attack targeting Muslims. A Muslim with a Hindu name, Ashok Verrkal, is young and terrified he will be discovered; he is pressured to stay undercover to find out when the attack will take place.
