Marcia Franklin talks with Harvard historian Laurel Thatcher Ulrich about her newest work, "A House Full of Females: Mormon Diaries 1835-1870." Ulrich discusses why she wanted to write the book, which examines the lives of women in polygamous households, and what she learned. The two also talk about feminism in the LDS Church, and her family's history in Idaho.
