Marcia Franklin interviews artist Roger Shimomura and Boise State Professor Robert Sims about the Minidoka War Relocation Center, a Japanese internment camp in southern Idaho during WWII. Shimomura lived in Minidoka as a child and incorporated his experience into his artwork. Sims studied and wrote about Minidoka, and was involved in getting it designated as a national monument in 2001.
