In 1984, Resnick, currently a Middlebury resident, was commissioned by the Vermont Marble Co. in Proctor to create an 'industrial' film depicting the process of extracting and preparing marble for the marketplace. The result was a highly crafted work of art which has already won four festival awards. The film opens with marble being quarried deep inside a Vermont mountain.
