The Memorial Service for Former NC Governor James E. Holshouser, Jr.

Motivated by an interest in reforming the NC's judicial nomination system, James Holshouser, Jr. began his political career as a North Carolina Legislator in 1962. A decade later, Mr. Holshouser became the state's first Republican governor of the 20th century. His life & legacy was celebrated on June 21st, 2013 with a memorial service at the Brownson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Southern Pines.
