In 2015 Congress unanimously agreed to give the gold standard of protection to these three areas in Idaho: the White Clouds Wilderness, the Hemingway-Boulders Wilderness, and the Jim McClure-Jerry Peak Wilderness. Congressman Mike Simpson and ICL director Rick Johnson had been working together for 15 years to make this happen.
