Marcia Franklin talks with poet, novelist, essayist and teacher Naomi Shihab Nye. Nye is known for elevating the ordinary in her works. A Palestinian-American, she also writes frequently about Middle Eastern issues. Franklin and Nye discuss the themes in her works, her writing style and her advice for writers. The interview was taped at the 2012 Sun Valley Writers' Conference.
