Hi, I'm Christine Peargin, and I am the Idaho Public Television Digital Innovator this year.
So I use technology a lot for coding, teaching them math.
I really like using the robots.
they can sit and listen to me all day, but they don't pay attention half the time.
But this is something where they're creating Well, I think it's important.
I think everything in the future is going to be technology.
And even if they get into something that's not having like the coding and some of these other apps where they have to work through the progress of solving something, I think that's beneficial for anything.
I also like to do a lot of like, A.R., the augmented reality.
we, we talk about immigration in third grade and they talk about Ellis Island and there's this really awesome website where you can go and you can take like a tour through it.
You can listen to people who came through Ellis Island like different video clips from them.
You can read it all day, but to actually hear someone telling them what it was like to travel in boats, you know, when they're ten years old, it makes a lot different, makes a big difference for them.
So I get to go to the NCCE Conference in Seattle.
you learn all sorts of new ways to use technology and integrate it into the classroom.
A lot of those classes have like all sorts of different ways you can use it.
And I think I think that's really interesting.
And that is my Idaho Public Television Story.
